After an ankle injury playing basketball, I made contact with Katrina with the goal of building up my strength and fitness again. She gave me exercises that protected and stregthened my ankle and quickly got my fitness back up so that when I returned to basketball I felt I was fitter than before the injury.
I love training so much that even after going back to basketball I have kept up the 2 sessions per week. This si the best fitness arrangment I have ever made – Katrina comes to me!!! If it is nice weather, we train in the sunshine in the park near my house; if it’s cold or rainy or dark, we train in my house! So no more wasting time driving to a gym, fighting for a carpark and trying to exercise in a packed group fitness class. We used Katrina’s weights, fitball and boxing gloves; my furniture; and even the play equipment in the park. Every training session is unique and keeps me interested.
Katrina has also given me a healthy eating guide with so much variety and new ideas that I love. We do regular mesurements (but no pinch tests!!) to keep track of my progress. I am feeling fitter, healthier and less stressed than I would be if I wasn’t doing training. Katrina is so friendly that each session is like working out with a girlfriend – she motivates me and distracts me from the pain of exercise so I can push myself further each time. I would recommend Katrina to anyone who is looking for a PT that fits into their lifestyle while providing very pleasing results. I can’t wait until my next session!!
